A husband that backs me up hundred percent with that by taking care Of our little one and house so can study and get good grades. Nursing school is tough!!!!!! Texas Grandma November 21, 2011 at 10:35 am I am so thankful that I grew up in a Christian home and was taken to church since I was born. I’m thankful for my mom and dad and the Christian values they taught me. I’m thankful that God blessed me with a brother, four sisters, a wonderful daughter, three great sons, and four very sweet grandchildren. I’m thankful that I have a job that I enjoy and that provides me with all that I need. In this world of problems and confusion in which many people are hungry and many are mislead, it is such a privilege to know the Truth and to be showered with God’s many blessings. Thank you Father! I am thankful for the privilege of getting to know all who are participating on Beautiful Canvas and are bringing many blessings to Lana, Dave, and the girls. Thanks to all of you! Merrin November 21, 2011 at 10:54 am I’m thankful for my awesome family and for a God who cares about me. I’m also thankful for this amazing blog that encourages me every time I read it! 😀 Janet Renda November 21, 2011 at 4:13 pm I am thankful for my faith and the fact that I remain committed to making sure my children are raised going church even though it would be so much easier to not to take them. I am particularly thankful for my family…my mom, my husband, my children, my sister. I’m pretty sure I couldn’t get through a day without them. I am also thankful for the friends I have met here. I enjoy stopping by to catch up with everyone and get a reminder about just how awesome our God really is. Diane Aeschliman November 21, 2011 at 7:30 pm Me too Texas Granda. I thank God for my Christian parents who raised me to follow and listen to the voice of the Lord. I’m extremely thankful for my wonderful Husband and his love for the Lord. We too have gone through a death of a child. But we are thankful she is with her Savior and noone can ever hurt her. I’m most thankful for our Lord Jesus Christ who went to the cross for our sins. Where would I be without his mercy and grace. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy one another. Nancy November 21, 2011 at 8:57 pm I’m thankful for the eight children God has allowed us to parent, ages 29-15. They are a blessing, always giving me the opportunity to learn and be challenged to be a better person and mom. I’m also very thankful for the godly husband the Lord blessed me with. What can I say? He’s a wonderful dad, just what I always hoped and prayed my kids would have. He has, however, never dressed as a munchkin. I guess he was a scarecrow one Halloween when our three oldest were little. I heard Janet Parcel (?) today on Christian radio. She was quoting church signs that listeners had sent in. I really liked this one, and Thanksgiving is a great time to consider it. “What if you woke up today with only the things you were thankful for yesterday?” Now that is something to consider…how thankful we are for all God has blessed us with. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Will Dave dress the turkey….or dress as a turkey? Lana November 21, 2011 at 11:24 pm Fabulous quote! I’m going to write that one down and tape it to the mirror.
