[This post is part of an ongoing blog series to get to know each other better. Have you read and participated in the other “More About You Monday” questions?]

For the past few years, we have been under pretty much constant stress: adoption, Tay Sachs diagnosis, moving, high risk pregnancy, bed rest, death, moving again, etc.

I didn’t realize how stressed I really was until after Carmen passed away. It took me 6 months to start feeling “normal” again.

Now, I find myself feeling stressed again.

I went to the dentist this morning and he suggested a night guard to stop me from grinding/clenching my teeth during my sleep. He then asked, “Are you under a lot of stress right now?”

Oh, ha, ha, yes. Even though we are excited to move, I still feel my stress level rising.

While Dave is the calm in our family, I am the worry-wart. I don’t like being a worrier because I KNOW that God is in control and He has a plan. And about 99% of the time, all my worries come to absolutely nothing!

I am always on the lookout for new ways to make managing the stresses of everyday life that little bit easier though.

One of my friends recently told me that using a mango kush cannabis strain has helped her to feel less stressed, so I might have to do some research of my own into the potential health-boosting benefits of marijuana at some point.

Do you have any experience using cannabis? Although there are not any marijuana dispensaries in our area, I know that there are quite a few popular websites where you can buy cheap weed online so if I do decide to give cannabis a try, I will definitely have to place an online order.

It is such a shame that we do not have any cannabis dispensaries in our local area. Honestly, anyone who lives close to a dispensary such as this bend store is incredibly lucky. Who knows, one day, we might get a dispensary in our area, but for now, cannabis users living here will have to stick to ordering cannabis products online.

At this point, I am willing to try anything. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would be suffering from stress, let alone struggling to find a way to cope as well. I’m surprised at just how much this has affected me. But I know I’m not the only one.

That same friend, who told me about the mango kush cannabis strain, has also suggested that I learn how to make hash at home as well, just in case the former isn’t as effective as I want it to be, as I know it won’t affect everyone in the same way. It’s definitely something worth considering at this point, as I just want my mental health to start improving again.

Natural remedies and alternative medicine are not for everyone but it cannot be denied that a large number of people do use them and so if you are contemplating attempting a new approach to managing your mental health, then doing your own research into these types of products is strongly recommended.

So today’s More About You Monday question is: How do you deal with stress?
