I took Hope to her 15 month doctor’s appointment last week. She is doing well but still a wee little thing. She weighs 18 lbs. 3 oz. and is 30 inches long. She gained half a pound since her last doctor’s visit.

She is on the weight chart at 1%. At least she’s on the chart now! 🙂

A few weeks ago we had her evaluated by Early Intervention for her turned in feet and speech delay. She says “hi” but doesn’t babble anything else so we wanted to make sure we were being proactive.

She qualified for services so she will be getting both physical and speech therapy in our home through the county.

We are not particularly worried but want to make sure we are addressing any concerns. Hope scored way above age level for social, emotional, cognitive and fine motor skills. We just need to work on the feet and the talking!

Eating like the rest of us (only without a plate or utensils)...

...and proud of it!

(Have no fear. Dave took these pictures and I was about a foot away, just in case Hope decided to jump off the stool!)
